About yabane pattern 矢羽 ya (arrow) hane->bane (feather) (jap.) -Feathers of Arrow- this pattern is inspired by the feathers of Hamaya - a “demon-breaking arrow”, a decorative arrow sold at shrines at New Year’s to ward off misfortune and to attract good luck. Yabane also has an association with weddings: in old days, bride's parents hand Kimono of this pattern to their daughter as a symbol for new and happy life for her in her new home. Because arrows will never come back after being released (It means " never divorce / never apart" ).
