Tenugui are traditional Japanese woven cotton cloths, today mainly used as seasonal room accents (as ornamental wall hangings or decorative towels).
They come in a huge variety of beautiful motifs and designs.
This Tenugui is decorated with characters from Chōjū-jinbutsu-giga scrolls which are said to be one of the oldest works of Japanese manga.
