This beautiful vintage style Japanese hair comb is the type called "Kanzashi." Such ornaments represent a link with traditional forms in Japanese hair accessories, which have been used for hundreds of years before Western styles began to overtake traditional forms.
"Odamaki accessories" - a long-established store in Kyoto (founded in 1923) that produces traditional Japanese accessories.
A decorative part of this comb is made of pure silk thread using the traditional technique of Kyoto braid.
The colors are selected from subtle tones, making it easy to match with Japanese and Western clothing, giving an elegant impression.
